Last week, finally, the new [N]Gamer came out, featuring not only my huge 6-page review of Twilight Princess, but also a 2-page article on Phoenix Wright 2. If you live in the Netherlands or Belgium, go check out the bookstore or magazine stand for the only Dutch all-Nintendo magazine! It's become a really nice edition anyway, with all the important Wii launch titles covered extensively, and some unexpected outcomes for some of them.

Looking left and right on the internet, I see that my article on Zelda has already sparked some controversy, which is just the way I like it. But I'm also very pleased to have been able to write a piece on Phoenix Wright. In my eyes, the series deserves to be praised publicly. It's already an underground hit, and via this review I wanted to bring more mainstream attention to it. I gave the second game a well-deserved 8 (out of 10) because it's quite good and a worthy successor to the first one. For an in-detail report you'll obviously have to read the mag, but suffice it to say I have a lot of good things to say about it.

And the reviewing doesn't stop, because at the moment I'm busy with Excite Truck for the Wii, which has pleasantly surprised me. I had read some mediocre reviews of it and wasn't expecting anything solid, so the game managed to take me by surprise. I can't tell you any more about it, I first have to write the article of course, and evaluate the game more closely.

School has started again after a nice lull of Christmas holiday. It was just what the doctor ordered. More exciting things that have transpired during this period in upcoming rants! Stay tuned!
